Radiation therapy

Radiation therapy uses high energy X-rays or other particles to treat cancer. It is precisely targeted and intended to cause less damage to the surrounding healthy cells near the cancer^4,5. It can also be used to relieve pain and discomfort from cancer that has spread⁵.

Clinical trials*

Advancing patient outcomes in the future is just as important to us as caring for patients today. If appropriate, our Noosa team may be able to offer you access to the GenesisCare global network of clinical trials. Speak to your treating doctor for further information.

Exercise physiology

Research has shown that physical activity can influence cancer outcomes and play a role in the cancer treatment journey. GenesisCare, Noosa offers tailored programs designed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist that include both aerobic and resistance training activities.

Allied health

At GenesisCare, Noosa we offer patients access to a range of Allied health services, all tailored to support their needs. One of our treatment team will discuss the most suitable options with each patient, and if required can arrange a referral. We partner with leading local allied health practitioners to offer support services aiming to optimise health, quality of life, and clinical outcomes before, during, and after treatment.
